Coolgmack

Coolgmack is a poet/author/publisher who grew up in various cities of Westchester and NYC aka the melting pot of ruin. Educated by the grimey streets of New York he experienced being raised in group homes, jails and institutions. in '97 he Graduated from sleepy hollow HS only to be succumb to NYC's dark streets.Which landed him to a first class trip to Rikers Island as a teen that robbed him of his peak. He spent most of his life in jails and prison but Chose poetry as a way out of the systemic chaotic street living. He made a vow to change his life for a good purpose, while doing an unjustified wrongfully long prison sentence which he is still serving(smh) He finds poetry as preferred form of communication and articulating his vision and what’s on his weary mind and of his crazy testimonial experiences. He wants to uplift his community by showing them there's more to life than their predicaments, and their circumstances we are handed with. Today he professes and manifests positivity though his actions and poetry and wants to bring back unity and strength in the urban neighborhoods and communities.
