Mimi Jones

Mimi is a children’s author and homeschooling mom who creates educational and engaging books for kids that make learning fun, simple, and meaningful.

She is the author of the State Facts for Kids series, The Wonderful World of series, The Wonderful World of Zodiacs, and the heartwarming Joey Saves the Day! series. Her books introduce young readers to U.S. states, geography, animals, kindness, character traits, and imaginative adventures through kid-friendly facts and stories.

Family and resilience are also a meaningful part of Mimi’s story. Her husband has battled acute myeloid leukemia (AML), a serious blood cancer, and their family’s journey has strengthened her appreciation for courage, hope, compassion, and helping others—values that are reflected in many of her books.

When she isn’t writing, Mimi enjoys homeschooling, researching fascinating topics, discovering new facts, and creating books that help children feel smart, capable, and excited to learn.
