Debasish Mridha once quoted - “Every day of life is an adventure. Don’t fear to dare and never forget to enjoy it.”
Elva Thompson turned 85 the same week she published her first book “Noises in the Cellar”.
Elva has lived in McComb, Mississippi most of her life. She went back to college to become a writer after retiring from the telephone company as a service technician, (the first female service technician in Pike County, Mississippi).
Due to enduring physical challenges, she is unable to enjoy many of the things she loves like gardening, spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren, remaining active in her church, crafts and traveling.
Nevertheless, God continues to grace her with a bountiful mind full of joy, imagination, and adventure; all of which flow through in her writings.
Her next book, “Stepping Up To Romance”, is a fictional romance novel packed with excitement, discouragement, secrecy and the desire for love. It has a projected publish date for early 2023.
