Rebecca Compton

Rebecca Compton is from Pennsylvania and currently lives in Rhode Island. She has her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Juniata College in Huntingdon, PA. While working with early childhood and elementary school children she has always enjoyed sharing her love of art and books with children and always hoped to illustrate her own children’s book. Rebecca created Edgar as the Dr. Day Care Learning Center mascot in 2013. In 2015, Rebecca illustrated and designed the book featuring this mascot, Edgar Graduates. She is currently working in marketing for early education.
