Gurmay Fraser was born in Guyana, South America, and currently resides in North Carolina with her two blessed adult professional children. Her literary work includes authorship of "My Journey to Spiritual Restoration" and her most recent book "Love Me or Leave Me." Both of her books bring insight and wisdom relating to abuse- why it happens and what we can learn spiritually and how to become an over-comer.

Gurmay has also been a High School Career Technical Education Teacher and Special Educator. She is a highly sought-after Key Note Speaker and has made many appearances on television with her most recent on the topic: “Radical Faith.” She served as a Keynote Speaker on a wide and diverse variety of topics at Colleges/Schools, Radio Stations, Businesses, Churches, and Women's Groups.

The Mayor of Charlotte, NC, elected her to serve as a Board Member of the Domestic Violence Advisory Board. Gurmay is now the voice of the voiceless on several topics that brings insights and awareness to people and businesses.
