Biography
My life began on April 22, 1973, in a hospital in Berlin – a story that, at first glance, was much like many others.
I grew up in a loving and caring home, looking forward to the future with curiosity and excitement. However, at the age of just one and a half, I lost my father to a serious illness. At the time, I was too young to understand the significance of this loss. Only later in life did I realize how profoundly this event had shaped my character and outlook on life.
I have only a few memories of my kindergarten years. In 1979, I started school in Berlin's Lichtenberg district. After nearly four years, I transferred to another school in the same district. This change had less to do with where we lived and more with the educational circumstances of the time. Looking back, this marked the beginning of one of the happiest and most formative periods of my youth.
In 1989, I graduated with a strong secondary school diploma. This achievement earned me one of the few available apprenticeships at what was then the largest beverage distribution company in East Germany. From 1989 to 1991, I trained as a professional truck driver—a profession that would have a lasting impact on my life.
Shortly after completing my apprenticeship, German reunification transformed the working world. Long-established structures disappeared, and many young people, including myself, suddenly faced an uncertain future.
In 1991, I began working as a driver for a local butcher's business. After a year, I decided to pursue new professional opportunities. In May 1993, I joined a major beverage company as a truck driver, a position I held with dedication until 2018.
In 2020, I began working for the German Autobahn authority, where I continue to work today.
In 2004, my partner and I left Berlin and moved to the nearby Brandenburg countryside, where we fulfilled our dream of building our own home. Two years later, in 2006, we got married.
In 2007, our first son was born—a gift that enriched our lives beyond measure. That same year, I discovered another great passion: writing.
A strong desire to create worlds and tell stories awakened within me. My imagination flourished, and what began as ideas soon grew into novels. My focus on horror and thriller fiction is no coincidence. Since the age of sixteen, I have been fascinated by dark, mysterious, and suspenseful stories.
What began as a hobby quickly developed into a true passion. Between 2007 and 2014, I published five books, including a collection of short stories.
In 2015 and 2018, our family was further blessed with the birth of our second and third sons. At the same time, I continued pursuing my literary ambitions. Additional books, including further installments of my Horror and Psyche series, are currently in development.
Throughout my journey as an author, I have been fortunate to receive unwavering support from my family and closest friends. For that, I remain deeply grateful.
Today, I look to the future with optimism and excitement—both as a person and as a writer.
My stories lead readers into dark worlds filled with mysteries, unexplained events, and the depths of human nature. Horror, thriller, and mystery are the essential ingredients of my work.
