Susan Rounds found her passion for historical romance long before she ever started writing. When she lived in Europe during her childhood, she made a magical discovery. Fairytale castles really do exist. Her imagination would never be the same.

Susan followed her dream having an airline career that was really about the romance of flying as much as visiting new places around the world.

Author Jane Austen has had the greatest influence on Susan’s writing, especially her last novel, Persuasion, a deeply romantic story of lost love and second chances, the themes that are also part of Susan’s novel.

Susan and her husband have two sons they’re very proud of and call northern California home.
