Mack Mccarter

G. S. “Mack” McCarter is Founder and Coordinator of Community Renewal International, recognized nationally and internationally as a model for reconstructing the foundation as well as the infrastructure of society through developing a system of loving relationships. Mack’s honors include: Social Entrepreneur of the Year from The Manhattan Institute, Louisiana Public Citizen of the Year from the National Association of Social Workers, National Citizen of the Year from the National Conference on Citizenship, Doctor of Letters Degree (Nyack College), and Doctor of Humane Letters (Centenary College). Mack is the 2022 Laureate of the Opus Prize awarded from the Opus Prize Foundation.
