Lei Mohr

Born in Hawaii but living all over the world, Lei Mohr always wanted to "go home." After years of moving around, she discovered a way to settle in Hawaii. During the 2018 Kilauea eruption she used her skills as a calmer to benefit the community. She has a M.A. in Communication and has taught college level courses as well as publishing fiction and non-fiction books about overcoming obstacles in life. She has also written children's fiction in the same theme. Growing healthy food year round remains her favorite hobby, though she also enjoys the vibrant, natural diversity of her island home.
