Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, Brad Raylend developed a love of the outdoors and field craft at a young age. While serving in the military, he took advantage of downtime during overseas deployments to write fiction. His extensive knowledge of history and military tactics combine with his real-world experiences to inject technical authenticity into his work.
