Aloha! I am a Native Hawaiian, born and raised on the island of Molokai in the Hawaiian community of Ho'olehua. My ancestors were a mixture of chiefs, kahuna, and commoners who were very gifted in healing, prophecy, and leadership. I inherited my gifts of prophetic dreams, clairvoyance, and energy manipulation from my ancestors. Other gifts, such as seeing and communicating with spirits, seeing hidden objects, and astral projection, appeared shortly after sustaining a head injury at five when I survived my first near-death experience (NDE). I survived four NDEs by the time I was 57. I wrote about these NDEs and how they influenced my life in my first book, "The Journey of Our Souls".
I was the odd child that other kids and adults ignored, since I could see and know things that others were oblivious to. To fit in with the crowd, I learned to suppress my gifts which remained hidden for most of my life. A pivotal moment occurred when I dug into my genealogy and recalled the stories I heard about my ancestors, who they were, and what they did. Suddenly, I wanted to be like my ancestors. I called on my ancestors to teach me to be like them. They answered, and continue to help me.
With the help of my ancestors, I entered a Healers path and armed myself with different skills and abilities. I am a reiki master, remote viewer, energy healer, advantage gamer, tarot reader, spiritual coach and mentor. I also have a strong academic background with advanced degrees in Public Administration, Psychology, Divinity, and Metaphysics. I retired from teaching in 2015, and have been guiding people through their spiritual journey since then.
The stories I share under my name David J Wallace are non-fiction. The books are either a memoir or manuals that teach a skill. The stories I share under DJ Wallace are fiction. My "Anna Blaze" and "Hawaiian Shapeshifter" series follow the lives of gifted children as they learn to master their abilities. Within these books, I share my own frustrations I experienced growing up as the weirdo who knew and saw too much.
