Kim Carr is an award-winning author, photographer, and lifelong animal lover whose books celebrate the remarkable stories of ordinary farm animals. Her work has earned multiple national book awards, including Firebird, PenCraft, IndieReader Discovery, and Best Book Award honors.

Growing up near St. Louis, Kim spent summers on her grandparents' farm, where she developed a lifelong love of the land. At age ten, her first camera, a Kodak 110 sparked her passion for photography, beginning a journey that would inspire her writing.

Today, Kim lives on her mid-Missouri farm, Hybrid Hollow, where she shares life with an assortment of unforgettable animals, all with a story to tell. Through authentic photography and heartfelt storytelling, she invites readers of all ages to discover the humor, resilience, and extraordinary stories in everyday farm life.
