Doug Powhida

Doug Powhida is an author, playwright, and humorist from Ohio. His efforts include an upcoming book on parenting titled, "Nobody Told Me: a Guide to Passable Parenting," and “I Love Me. Who Do You Love?” a published collection of stories, lists, lies, and comics written secretly online under the name HolyJuan. Powhida has published online for over 15 years both as the Fake Dispatch account on Twitter and on HolyJuan.com. He has scripted shorts performed at Mad Lab Theatre, Cannon SchoolThe Annual St. James Tavern Valentine’s Day Shorts Festival, and The Annual St. James Tavern Shorts Festival.

Powhida is married to Miss Sally and has two passable children: Greg and Annie. He currently lives in Westerville, Ohio, which is on the east side of Columbus.
