Mackenzie Rice

Who am I? That’s a terribly difficult question to answer, but I will try.

My name is Mackenzie Rice. I am a 30 year old woman born in the USA. I am the wife to one of the most amazing human beings I have ever met, Rachel. I am a mother to 3 crazy pre-teens. The hormones in our house are constantly raging at this point.

I am a forever senior in college. I used to work for a car dealership as a service advisor and assistant service manager. Three years ago I had my entire life thrown upside down and back again. My health became my entire journey for what felt like an eternity and more.

I had to have 4 different surgeries, including a hysterectomy, brain and neck surgery. I was diagnosed with Chiari, Ehlers Danlos, POTS and Mast Cell Activation disorder.

I refuse to let life win. I refuse to cave to the idea that because I have a disability, my life is over. I am just getting started.

When I was a teen, I made a promise to myself that I would write a book and I DID IT!!
