Roberto Aguilar

Roberto Antonio Aguilar Hernández (San Salvador, June 20th 1994) is a Salvadoran editor, writer, poet and translator. Author of the books Pétalos de Izote (2022); Sentimientos y Otras Sensaciones (2023) and Cuentos Aleatorios (2023). Member of the editorial team of the Contemporary Literature collection (Laia Editora, Argentina) and editor of the Cinco Pétalos Digital Magazine (El Salvador). He participated in the II Ergo International Poetry Festival (2023).

His texts have been published in various anthologies and magazines in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, Nicaragua, Peru, Spain, the United States, the Philippines and Venezuela.

Finalist in the 12th “Picapedreros” Contest of Poetry, Short Story and Script (Spain).

Second place in 2023 "Luis Mantilla Lumán" International Writers Contest (Perú).

Finalist in the "Monstruous Chrismas" Literary Contest (Perú).

First place in the 1st "Orestes Pérez" International Literary Contest (USA).
