Jill Ebstein

Jill Ebstein began her career in business and dabbled in writing. Now, she mostly writes and dabbles in business. Her first series, "At My Pace," is a three-book collection of essays by contributors, exploring three topics: women's work/life decisions as an expansion of the lean-in conversation; women recounting a single important lesson from their moms; and twenty-somethings sharing how they see their path forward.

When Covid hit, Jill switched to fiction. "Alfred's Journey to Be Liked" is an offbeat story about a 14-year-old boy (Alfred) with limited social skills, who is helped out by a coach. In "Hannah’s Journal to Be Happy," Alfred’s closest friend, Hannah, needs to understand her anger. Along with her brother, Hannah heads to her dad's for the summer and journals her way to discovery in a lighthearted tale.

"Coming of Age at Forty" tells the story of Ellie, Alfred's mom, who asks herself, "Is this all there is?" A new chapter of growth awaits.

Jill's most recent book, "Finding the Sunny Side," is a series of 28 musings to facilitate conversation with the young adults in our lives.

Jill holds a BS from Washington University and an MBA from Wharton.
