David James

Like many Alaskans, David A James wandered north after college, intending to spend a summer having adventures and hopefully earning a little money. More than three decades later he still hasn't left. James is a freelance writer whose work has appeared in Alaska Magazine, the Anchorage Daily News, The Fairbanks Daily News-Miner, and many other Alaska publications. James lives with his wife in Fairbanks, where he is an avid mountain biker and long running public radio host.
