I live in deepest rural England and we have had many pet cats over the years, so I write about them. All of them have had unique personalities and many adventures. Do they belong to us or are they merely lodging in our house? Some we bought, some were given to us and one just arrived. When my own children were small, reading aloud was one of my favourite things, and my books and stories are all designed to be read out loud, even when there are no children around!
