Justin Scheide

Justin Scheide writes science fiction about flawed people making dangerous choices in unforgiving places. His debut series, Legacies of the Citadel, grew out of the game universe created by The Citadel — a world he helped build from the ground up before deciding the characters deserved a bigger story than any game could tell.

By day, he works in technical writing and engineering. By night (and most weekends, and a suspicious number of lunch breaks), he writes space opera about colony ships, cybernetic warlords, and the kinds of moral gray areas that don't fit neatly on a back cover.

He lives with his wife Megan and their kids, who have been variably supportive and confused by the whole endeavor.
