David Herd

David Herd is a successful author on the history of Rangers FC, with 4 previously published books "1872 – Stories of Rangers Players of Yesteryear", "Rangers – Kings of the League Cup", "1977/78" and "Torry", the biography of the great footballer Torry Gillick. All have been well received by the club fans. He is also a regular contributor of online articles and blogs for various fan media groups, and is an accomplished podcaster on Rangers FC fan media. David has recorded several club history podcasts on Spotify, has appeared in several videos released by the official club channel Rangers TV, as well as being a popular speaker at supporter events. His expertise in club history and articulate opinions on current issues in Scottish football has seen him appear several times on both Sky Sports News and STV News.
