Nathan Rodriguez

When I was 9, I had an idea for a series called "Blue Hours". When I was 13, I wrote down my first note (July 15th, 2018). Since then, I have written 10,570 notes at the time of writing this biography. Over the course of several years it turned from an interest of mine into the basis of my understanding. I would lunge at any opportunity to further extend my perspective, to learn more, to continue writing. It became the basis of my real-world interactions, my habits - everything. But under the impossible guise of infinite influence, my writing was always the same thing - a love letter. The way we talk, why we talk, why we seek to understand, how it becomes love, how we come to interpret each-other, and how the notion of doing so becomes who we are. In trying to pinpoint the goodness of this existence, my writing became something autonomous, instant, and inherently appreciative. It became it's own living thing, and eventually, I finally felt like it could communicate the love it was created to communicate. So after many years, iterations, attempts and failures, I finally feel like I can start giving the writing I imagined when I was 9 years old.

If you'd like to know some more about me, here you go:

I am 21 years old, a college student studying lingustics. I like to weight-lift and play chess, I have a bookshelf above my bed with over a thousand books. Some from second-hand stores and some in premo condition. I am also the founder of my college's writing club! I have lots of great relationships in my life, blood and mud, and on occasion I sleep with my socks on.

I also originally published two books because I wanted to get my foot in the door, but they were just a part of the learning process for me.

If you've read centipede and are looking for my website or email, I can no longer put those in my amazon bio. However, they will be included in the newer editions of centipede.
