Steve Johns is passionate about helping nonprofits build a better tomorrow. He leads the team at OneCause as Chief Executive Officer. Steve has more than 30 years of experience in technology, corporate development, venture capital, event production, and entrepreneurship. OneCause has emerged as the leading digital fundraising platform helping nonprofits raise more money and connect with their donors.

Steve brings a fresh perspective to his nonprofit tech role, blending his experiences in senior leadership at Fortune 500 companies with a successful record as an early-stage technology investor, scale-up business leader, and executive in the music industry.

He served on the Motorola Research Visionary Board, currently is a member of The Giving Institute, and sits on the Board of Directors for TechPoint helping guide growth initiatives for Indiana’s tech ecosystem.

When he’s not leading fearlessly, you can find him jamming to classic rock tunes in his office, walking the sands of Cocoa Beach with his family, or cheering on his beloved Chicago White Sox.
