Amy Houck, also known as Amy TheLight, is a talented poet, writer, abstract painter, and digital marketing AVP. She was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland and discovered her love for poetry and writing at a young age. Throughout her life, she has continued to inspire others with her work and her public speaking, always encouraging others to be their best selves and reach their full potential.

Amy has published two books, "The Bare Minimum" and "I Hope You Get What You Deserve." In "The Bare Minimum," she shares her experiences of settling in relationships and hopes to inspire others to recognize their own self-worth and to never settle for less. In "I Hope You Get What You Deserve," she provides a self-help and motivational guide about getting what you deserve when you feel like the world has failed you. The book is composed of true stories and impactful quotes, and encourages readers to understand that what they deserve is not justice, but joy.
