Karen Light

Karen Light is lit up by her calling to Awaken Creative Power! She is an Artist who values play, curiosity, and connection to ourselves and all that is. She deeply believes that creativity is an innate human quality that is not only about making art - it is about making our lives!

As a Creative Executive Function Coach and Doodle Empress at HowDoodle, Karen is passionate about helping creatives achieve more in a way that actually feels GOOD and WORKS for them using their own creative superpowers! Additionally, she owns Studio Light Illustration in which she partners with self-publishing authors and artists to create illustrations for stories and poems that nurture our humanity.

Karen has self-published two books as well. Once Upon a Doodle is a children’s book she wrote and illustrated. Spark! A Workbook to Unleash Your Creative Flow was created in partnership with another author. More books are to come!

When she isn’t working on her two businesses, Karen makes her own art, loves to hike, is planning for a more nomadic lifestyle, and swings on the dancefloor.
