Mr J Corey Edwards

J. Corey Edwards was born in Fort Sill, Oklahoma. He received his bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts/Human Development from Peru State College in Peru, NE. As a former military brat, I was transported to many different experiences that helped shaped my life. I've lived in different places such as Germany, Charleston, S.C, Fort Bliss, TX and Mililani, HI. I graduated from Mililani High School and started college at Leeward Community College in Pearl City, Hawaii. After attending about seven different colleges or universities I finally completed my education at Peru State College. While I was mentoring middle school and high school boys I realized that I needed to be a symbol of hope as well as be an inspiration to these young men. I was burnt out from attending so many different schools, but I was finally able to complete what I started. I eventually started my career in the telecommunications industry as a customer service agent. I eventually became a telematics software engineer and finally a Senior Software Analyst. I feel like I have lived many lives. I've been married, divorced, a cancer survivor and a father of three wonderful daughters. I am now a Life Coach and author. I hope to inspire and encourage people to live their best life and follow their dreams! African and African American history has been a great inspiration to me. There are many great stories to be told. My stories are mythical, but are inspired by facts. I hope you enjoy the journey!
