I have an MA in Biblical Studies and was a Graduate Fellow of the T&M Wagner Foundation (UBC, Canada). A bit of a maverick academic, I am not limited by convention; I tend to let my research follow its own path, regardless of controversy, taboo, or dogma. Ancient texts are all too often judged by our own standards, biases, and cultural backgrounds; what I aim to do is demonstrate that by working with an open mind, with an unhindered curiosity and respect for the original authors, their lived experiences, and their social/political/religious contexts, so much can be gleaned that has been overlooked - or worse, suppressed.
