Kendra Petty

Kendra was born on a family farm in Oklahoma. Her father, Kendra, and the rest of the family left the farm, so he could pursue his career dream, which was not farming. However, the farm has stayed in the family to this day and is an important part of the family’s history. Kendra and her family moved around Oklahoma, Texas, and Arkansas, settling in Lawton, Oklahoma. She was raised in a very strict bubble of God and worship. As a teenager, she was not allowed to socialize in the secular world at all because of their religion. Before graduating from high school, Kendra served as a missionary in Haiti, which was an incredible experience for her. That experience taught her resolve and independence, and it showed her how much inner strength she actually had. It also made her extremely grateful for what she had in her own life, after seeing so much poverty.

After high school, Kendra left Oklahoma and the religion behind. She relocated to New York City to pursue her dreams and build a career. During her eight years there, she attended and graduated from college and entered the world of fashion. But soon, she longed for a career change and a new city, so she left New York and the fashion industry and moved to Los Angeles. In LA, Kendra started a decades-long career in the parking and transportation industry. She moved 13 times for her career in order to climb the corporate ladder. Over the course of her career, she has overseen operations in more than 200 cities in North America. Moving up through the ranks, she eventually became an executive vice president at two different firms. Kendra understood all too well the challenges of succeeding in a male-dominated industry. Still, she was determined. She came to love working on mergers and acquisitions and using her skills as a powerful negotiator and dealmaker. She also became a dynamic public speaker and presenter. Kendra enjoys boating, bouldering, scrambling and off-roading. She also loves spending time with her family and friends and traveling.
