NORM MITCHELL has lived in Minnesota for thirty-five years, longer than he did in New York City, where he was born and grew up When he was six, he had his first story published in his school’s literary magazine. In the fourth grade, he discovered he developed a love of history especially Russian, German and the Balkans. And that, along with writing, has been his lifelong passion. He graduated from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, with a B.A. in history and a minor in philosophy. He has travelled extensively in North America, Europe, and in the Middle East with the Air Force. And much of that has found its way into his
last books published. The Hidden One and Prisoner of Hope the first two books in his People of the Blood Trilogy.
