Monica Williams

Monica Williams is a motivational and transformational speaker and founder of a women’s group that she established in 2014, Women of Truth. She loves to empower and inspire women to be true to who they really are and to show up in any room as their authentic self.

She has had the opportunities of speaking at her Alma Mater Millersville University, live social media events, a middle school, a residential home for youth, the urban expo in Seattle Washington, the DC Black Pride at literary café, and multiple women’s events.

She published her first book in 2019 that was featured in the York Dispatch Newspaper, (How I Loved GOD and Her, The Battle of the Heart), her second book (The Unveiling, Pain, Trauma & Truth) was published in 2022.

Monica is a 2012 graduate of Harrisburg Area Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Social Science. She graduated cum laude in 2014 where she earned a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree from Millersville University. She furthered her education by obtaining a Master’s Degree in Social Work in 2016, graduating with honors and a 4.0 from a dual college Shippensburg/Millersville University. She was inducted into the Theta Alpha Phi Alpha Honor Society. She currently has a career as a Hospice Medical Social Worker.

Monica is the spouse of Juanika Ballard, which whom they share twins, but have a total of 5 children from previous relationships. Monica currently lives in York, Pennsylvania with her family, where they enjoy vacationing and spending quality time.
