Anna Rose James (she/her) is a queer, bisexual actor-writer of mixed British and Asian heritage, based in the North East of England. She is an author of poetry, flash fiction, memoir, stage scripts and screenplays. Her works include UNKNOWN (Stairwell Books); LITTLE IRRITANTS (Analog Submission Press); LOVE, ALBERTA; WAYSIDE; 100 FRIGGIN’ POEMS; IT’S OK TO FALL FOR CAMP BOYS (self-published). Her work has also been featured on 330 Words, Alpha Female Society, Blue Animal Literature, Calm Down Magazine, Dissonance, Enclave, Forever Endeavour, Gingerbread House, Global Poemic, Mookychick, Prismatica, Vagabond City Lit, Visual Verse and What Rough Beast. She has worked with Hedgepig Theatre, Bronzehead Theatre, Hoglets, Well-Fangled Theatre, Re:Verse Theatre, Off the Rock Productions and Grunt Productions. She is a co-host of The Podvangelist podcast and the voice of 3CC0 on Tin Can podcast. She is the Theatre and Literature Editor at Arts York, and a co-founder of Sonnet Sisters and Six Lips Theatre.
