Ricardo Nuqui

Born and raised in Manila, Philippines. Studied primary and high school in Manila, and university in Quezon City. Worked my first 2 years as a mainframe application programmer, writing codes mostly in COBOL and IMS/DLI. Moved to systems programming after learning Assembler. Managed OS/VS1 and MVS for 3 years.

Migrated to Singapore, and worked for 17 years as a MVS systems programmer until I became the head of mainframe services in the company. After taking early retirement and rested for over a year, went back to work as a z/OS systems programming consultant.

Moved and worked in Malaysia as Compute Infrastructure Director for 4 years.

Came back to Singapore and worked as a Program/Project Manager handling major mainframe projects on contract with a local bank. Once the contract has ended, worked on my books, and that is where I am now.
