I am a researcher at heart and I have always written travel articles. I have self published a number of books on Lulu, including the "Battle for Brough Bay", "World War Sites in Caithness" and "Caithness, Corners of Dunnet", "Two Pairs of Blue Eyes - Nuala.

I lived and worked in Spain for over 30 years on and off and wrote for the local press there. I love the Spanish writers, and of course the language.

I simply refuse to have books thrown away, and was horrified to find that Col Ghaddafi deceased had attempted to burn every single book in Libya when he took power in 1969. I donated my books about Libya to BILNAS, the British Institute for Libyan and Northern African Studies in London.

I contributed to the Anthology 2019 put together by the Inkslingers, a wonderful writing group in Dublin.

I was a secretary for many years, before going to University and studying IT and Spanish at the age of 38. Then I became a project manager in the banks.
