Claim to Fame: I hail from the same hometown as the incomparable and beloved Canadian author, ALICE MUNRO!
I have a year of journalism training, a political science degree, and a law degree. In addition, I have diplomas in cognitive behavioural therapy, child psychology, and psychotherapy and counselling, as well as certificates in family life education and coaching, reflexology, assertiveness training and mindfulness meditation. In the past, I've worked primarily as a lawyer and some of my practice dealt with issues pertaining to family and divorce law. I've also worked as a university and college lecturer, a tutor, editor, writer, counsellor, researcher and piano teacher.
I enjoy a multi-faceted approach when it comes to life, work and study in order to keep things fresh and interesting. I love, love, love spending time in nature where I can pursue my passions of photography, gardening, exercise, recreation, travel - and even do some reading, writing or painting. I have created/written many blogs over the years. Some of the more current ones are: dkhphotography.blogspot.com; dkhanula-sky.blogspot.com; psycheandmind.blogspot.com; dkhstoriesforchildren.blogspot.com; psycheandmindquotationscollection.blogspot.com.

A favourite quotation: "Sometimes the distance that you keep is as difficult for me to bear as proximity would be to anyone I didn't care for." (Rod McKuen)
