Greg Payne

Greg is a Chartered Engineer and Energy Modeller, who started his career in the Energy Industry in 2003. He since specialised as an Energy Modeller and has worked in fields including energy storage modelling, energy trading, EV portfolio modelling, hybrid heating systems, flexibility markets and business games.

Since 2018, Greg has been the Modelling and Simulation Lead within Cenex, where he continues to further Cenex’s modelling capabilities. He develops and uses models to provide actionable insights for challenges in the zero carbon transition. Being a confident speaker and presents regularly at industry events.
