John Ward

John Ward is a horror author hailing from Northeast Ohio. He has been enamored with horror stories and films since he was a young age - sparked by his fascination with the Goosebumps books. In 2023, John decided to break into the horror industry by writing his very own middle grade horror series, Scareville! He wanted to bring back fun, exciting, yet spooky stories for young readers of the modern age, while also serving up nostalgia for the adult readers as well.

John loves writing horror for everyone and inspiring today's young readers. Recently, John has dipped his toes into the world of adult horror, completing several short stories for anthologies, a full-length novel - A Blackened Heart, A Blackened Soul - and has also recently completed his second novel, An Unforgiving Nature. More works will be on the way for both Scareville and his adult horror reads.
