When I entered news in the mid-60s, the principles of reporting were: to be Objective, Accurate, Fair and Thorough. Unfortunately, now much of the media is biased, shallow, negligent in covering significant issues, and exaggerating minor stories. Traditional news values have been subverted. Possibly this book can provide guidance to rethink the values of today's culture.
