Gloria Larson

Gloria Larson is a German-born American author, communication expert, keynote speaker, and Certified Life Coach. Born in postwar Germany and educated in Germany and Spain, she grew up among different countries, languages, and complicated family stories—experiences that shaped her lifelong interest in how people love, wound, misunderstand, and ultimately find their way back to one another.

For more than forty years, Gloria has helped people communicate with greater clarity, empathy, and courage. Her first book, Speak the Unspeakable (2022), offers practical tools for approaching the conversations that matter most.

The Last Room Over the Sea, her fiction debut, is an intimate family saga set against the beauty and shadows of postwar Europe and the Mediterranean. The novel explores abandonment, family mythology, identity, forgiveness, and the complicated cost of being good.

Gloria lives in Florida, where she continues to write, teach, and help people turn communication into connection—and connection into joy.
