Michael K. Piper

Michael K. Piper is a new author of mystery and thriller books, and his debut book is a

page-turning thriller entitled Jazz Town. A retired history professor, Piper now spends his time

pursuing his dream of writing books. He is an avid history buff with a particular interest in late

19th and early 20th century American history, true crime, and social injustices. When he’s not

writing, Piper can be found spending time with his three grown children and four grandchildren

or playing dominoes, chess, or checkers at the local park. He also enjoys an occasional round of golf or a game of

poker with friends, as well as spending time at the local park when the weather is nice. Piper

likes to entertain friends and family at his home just outside of Atlanta, GA with his wife,

Regina, to whom he has been married for 32 years, and their dogs, Ever and Echo.
