Holly Eden Carson, MA, LPC, LCSW is a mixed media artist, author, and psychotherapist who has led thousands of clients on their healing journeys for over forty years through her private practice in St. Louis, Missouri. She is a licensed professional counselor, licensed clinical social worker, and certified life-coach who received her MA in Counseling Psychology at Lesley University in Cambridge, MA. Her undergraduate studies were in psychology, art, and art therapy.
Holly’s therapy practice is currently focused on working with women across the life spectrum. A lifelong student of Jungian and archetypal psychology, she is known as a passionate creative with a style of working with people that is soul-focused and depth-oriented. A caring therapist and inspiring life-coach, she partners with her clients to help them achieve restoration and healing, strengthen relationships, and step into their full wholeness, purpose, and potential. She is especially sought after for her specialties in grief therapy, women’s issues, anxiety disorders, creativity development, and spiritual direction. She has led workshops and retreats internationally for women on spirituality and personal growth. She has also spent many years as a volunteer for hospice working with the terminally ill and with the American Red Cross in the area of Disaster Mental Health.
Holly’s personal and professional life work has exemplified the power of art and creative expression to heal and transform our brokenness, unveil forgotten dreams, and awaken us to our truest self. The core of her work as a healer and artist reflects her belief that when we dive deeply into the rhythms of soul and spirit, creativity emerges as a sacred path full of lessons in the art of being. She is the co-author of Weaving Ourselves Whole: A Guide to Forming a Transformational Expressive Arts Circle (published by University Publishers Press/UPP in March 2023) and is currently working on the writing of her second book on spirituality and creativity as a contemplative practice.
