Roger Haines

Roger hopes his books will enchant and inspire readers, in his bright, fun preschool picture books like I’m A Cloud and Rescue the Custard! or the zany adventures of Bardle, the boy who wants most of all to be a jester (yes, Roger was the class clown!) Or if you’re in the mood for something more mysterious, there’s the school ghost hunters Emma Houdini and James Price.

Roger lived underground for three years before emerging blinking into the light with a head full of strange and wonderful mysteries. Since then he has worked with his very excellent friend Sarah Green on many fantastic creative projects, including Thumbnail Books, the publisher the Bardle Diaries.
