Trip Payne

Trip Payne is a professional crossword editor whose first national published puzzle was in 1983. Since then, he became the first $32,000 winner on "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire", won the American Crossword Puzzle Tournament three times, and was featured in the 2006 documentary film "Wordplay". He enjoys escape rooms, immersive theater, Eurovision, and writing short autobiographical paragraphs about himself.
