Stan Williams is a writer, filmmaker, and story structure expert who has worked with Will Smith on over a dozen projects that have grossed over a billion dollars at the box office. Will calls Stan's book on story structure (The Moral Premise: Harnessing Virtue and Vice for Box Office Success) "The most important tool in my new toolbox." Stan is based in Michigan with occasional forays to Los Angeles and Europe. Stan has written 11 books, including 7 novels, a memoir, and has designed and edited 8 nonfiction books. He and his wife, Pam, have three children and ten grandchildren. Stan holds degrees in Physics (BA), Mass Communications (MA), and Film Studies/Narrative Theory (PhD).
