Jayla Green

Jayla began her poetry writing journey at a young age. She started off writing short poems and as she grew up, her writing evolved and became more wise, lyrical, and personal. Now when she writes her inspiration comes from what her eyes have seen and what her heart feels. Thus, from the perspective of nurture and nature. She believes life, and the people living it, is not just black and white all experiences should not be taken personally. Jayla knows that we, as individuals, have a purpose in life to fulfill. Her writing allowed her to gain wisdom and notice the past can repeat itself in different forms. Jayla’s wisdom provides her just enough knowledge and glory to see the bright, beautiful light of what she lived through; knowing she could live through it again and come out stronger.
