AJ Carter

AJ Carter is a UK-based writer of psychological thrillers, domestic suspense, and mystery novels packed with unexpected twists.

His stories delve into the darkness lurking beneath the surface of everyday life: family conflict, hidden secrets, obsession, betrayal, broken relationships, and the lies people tell to protect themselves. Combining everyday realism with compelling suspense, AJ creates gripping, page-turning thrillers in which trust can be dangerous, motives are rarely straightforward, and familiar homes and relationships can quickly turn threatening.

Driven by curiosity, caffeine, and a fascination with human behaviour at its darkest, AJ writes for readers who enjoy tense domestic thrillers, shocking twists, unreliable characters, and suspenseful stories that keep them guessing long after they should have turned out the lights.
