Carlo Sitaro

Italian author born in Naples in 1982. After graduating from the Artistic High School in 2001, he gained various professional experiences across Italy. His early passion for cinema led him to study in the United States during the 2011 academic year at the EF International Language Campus, where he also worked as a storyboard artist and graphic design intern in New York. It was there that he met Peter O'Brien, his English teacher and mentor—an independent director and author with whom he began a lasting professional collaboration.

Sitaro's strengths lie in storytelling, adventure, and science fiction. He successfully bridged his initial gap in software coding thanks to the rise of AI, which significantly helped him merge his creative vision with technical logic. Passionate about computer hardware, he is a certified Hardware Specialist, an advanced Linux user, and a software developer with a growing, genuine interest in game design through Godot Engine. His expertise in digital graphics includes 3D modeling with over seven years of experience using Blender (since version 2.8). Above all, he is a keen observer who always looks beneath the surface—a crucial skill in the era of vibe coding.

He is deeply committed to the General Public License (GPL) and the open-source philosophy.

His latest available GitHub projects include:

DGS-X – A lightweight Linux virtual mouse utility designed to transform your XInput controller into a fully functional desktop navigation tool. 🎮

BMO OS – An authentic, lightweight AI companion for Linux. Features a custom CRT UI, voice synthesis with robotic filters, and smart web search via Ollama. It monitors your system (CPU/GPU) and speaks only when needed to save VRAM. “BMO is a real living boy!” 📟✨
