L. Mason Jones

L. Mason Jones served a number of years in the military, and travelling on a so-called "government service" passport, found himself in such places as South Yemen, Bahrain, the Gulf of Oman, Cyprus, and Germany. After leaving the service, he became part of the team producing the highly successful business jet, The Hawker 125. He functioned as a quality engineering inspector with, initially, British Aerospace, and then with Corporate Jets Inc, and finally with Raytheon USA, the latter of which purchased the company and moved production to the USA. L. M. Jones then left the business to concentrate on writing projects. He has three adult children and resides in Chester.
