As a young girl, I enjoyed reading the Nancy Drew mystery series. I imagined myself alongside Nancy as she solved crimes. From there, I read my brother's Hardy Boy mysteries, then Agatha Christie, and now many contemporary mystery writers. I like to develop my characters first because they will tell me what to write next. I know how they will respond to different situations. Personally, besides reading and writing mysteries, I enjoy biographies, history, and faith-based literature. I live in Frankfort, Kentucky where I enjoy flower gardening and time with friends and family.
Before becoming an author, I was a Physical Therapist and a health care executive. Upon retiring, I sat down and wrote my first novel, Search For Murder. I was hooked. I love to write and I am thrilled that there are readers who enjoy my creations.
