James Hodges

James Hodges is an accomplished musician, speaker, and author with over 26 years in ministry, serving as the senior pastor of Life Church (formerly Eternal Life Worship Center) in Virginia Beach, VA, for 24 years. He holds a Master's degree in Theology in Pastoral Studies from Andersonville Theological Seminary and an honorary Doctorate in Christian Education from Freedom Bible College and Seminary. With a passion for teaching and sharing the Gospel, James has become a sought-after speaker and teacher at conferences and events around the country.

Beyond his pastoral work, James is a successful entrepreneur, having owned several businesses, including Eagle Wings Couriers and JITA Enterprises, a clothing line and recording studio. Despite his busy schedule, James remains deeply committed to his family and has been married for 32 years with four children and several grandchildren.

James also has a love for writing and has authored several books, including Men on a Mission: A 30-Day Devotional and Study Guide, What God Said, and Translated Out of Darkness. His upcoming books, Beyond The Veil: Discovering Your Spiritual Purpose and Unshakable: Spiritual Awareness and Mental Strength for Everyday Life, are set to be released soon.
