John Koskinen

John was born and raised in Duluth, Minnesota. Both of his grandfathers were in the military. Grandpa Peter Koskinen was a chief petty officer in the Navy and Grandpa Thomas Dougherty was a naval aviator who was shot down durning WWII and survived as a prisoner of war. John started this project over ten years ago with the goal of making a difference in kids' lives. The project really took shape durning an entrepreneurship class at Santa Barbara City College. In his free time, he likes to cook, surf, ski, be outside, and help others. He is married to his wife, Francesca, and they have a fur baby named Little.
