Pushpa M. Parmar

Pushpa M. Parmar is married with 3 children, living in Toronto, Canada. A Canadian of Indian Gujarati descent, born in South Africa, who has a passion for history and 'herstory' and giving voice to the many voiceless women of generations past and present. She has lived and worked in the USA, UK and Canada. Her father, a anti-apartheid activist, and family moved to Canada as political exiles from South Africa- via Zambia. Her family and a small group of South Africans in Toronto were heavily active in Anti- Apartheid activities in and outside of Canada since the 1970s.
